Transcript for "Goldcast Spotlight":
What's up? Hello, everyone. Well, welcome. It's our speech tonight. Hey, Courtney. Hey, Ernest. Hey, Lauren. And a big hello to everyone who's joining us today. We really look forward to this event to get some time with some friendly faces, some new faces, some customers, some people who are checking us out, and some of our own team. So welcome to everyone in the audience. Let us know where you're coming in from. Where are you dialing in from today, Courtney and Ernest? You wanna share with everyone? I'm I'm from the Boston area. I am on Long Island, New York. Awesome. And I'm just outside of Phoenix, Arizona. And before I could get back to you, Lauren, not that we have a whole lot of ice out here in Phoenix, Arizona, but I do have a bit of an icebreaker. And that's our poll for today. So today, we're gonna be talking a little bit about AI search. And so, I wanted to ask what is something that you wish you could use AI to easily find because you never know where it is? Let's go ahead and share that and feel free to answer. I think I pressed the wrong button. I'm sharing the results in real time. That's kinda funny. I know for me, a popular item that always gets lost is the remote. And when you've got 3 young kids in elementary school all fighting for their different shows, you can never find that remote. I love passport. That's one where it's like I was talking to Anand earlier how I literally I have a a drawer that my passport is always in, but if I didn't have, like, a little filing cabinet with a drawer, I don't know where I'd put it. So if if you don't have a filing cabinet, where's everyone putting their passport? It's tough. Love that poll. Thanks, Ernest. And while we have you as we're ramping up, I'm also gonna share that we're doing a giveaway today. So some of you, maybe you came just for the giveaway, or maybe you came to hear everything about what's coming up on our roadmap and here's some tips and tricks. But if you're here for the giveaway, we are, giving away $500 swag bag that includes some holiday gift items, and it also includes some smart mugs. So you and your partner can, or you and yourself when your first smart mug is in the dishwasher can always have a hot cup of coffee. So, listen till about the the 30 minute mark before we dive into q and a. I know some people just have to go at the half hour mark. We will announce the, the giveaway winner before we get into q and a. Awesome. And just one last housekeeping item before we jump in. Please go ahead and register for our deep dive event. There's a CTA at the top of your screen that says sign me up for deep dive. It's a great opportunity to come out, and get a really in-depth walk through of some of the features that we've recently launched, some of the features that we'll be talking about today. That's right. Thanks, Courtney. And I'll just say some people ask, like, how do I get into the giveaway? You were entered into the giveaway just by being here, but might help your chances if you engage in the chat and ask some questions. So, stay involved, keep that chat hopping. So with that, we've got quite a good crew here. We're gonna dive in and wow, it's amazing how that that attendee count went up. Welcome to everyone who just joined us. We're here for our spotlight event. We're here to share a little bit about the roadmap, as well as our vision for where video strategy is going for marketing in 2025. And as we do that, we will share a little bit about what Goldcast is building to help you all bring your video strategies to life. So without further ado, let me share, share the slides that we've prepared for today, and dive right in. So I mentioned a lot about video. I wanted to start with a little bit of a bird's eye view about how we think about video. You know, pop it in the chat. How many different channels you've engaged with video in the last 24 hours? I know I watched some Netflix last the season finale of The Diplomat on Netflix, which was amazing. Can't believe it was only 6 episodes, but that, that finale was pretty great. And then I I looked at some home decorating videos with my mom scrolling through. She loves she loves YouTube shorts. And I engaged with my friends posts on on Instagram. And then I went over to LinkedIn and I was like, wait, LinkedIn's even in investing in video. So I'm not telling you all anything you don't know. But I am reminding us of how much mind share goes to video today. Wait. Are we doing diplomat spoilers in the chat? I don't know about that. I don't know about that. But, yeah, I love it. And you're right. Somebody said this webinar. And so that was one of the things that just really blew our team away when we were talking to our customers about how they can do more with video. 60% of video content that marketers and and b to b orgs use is it comes from webinars. So let's not forget that as a channel. We like to say that you're invisible without video. But the real reason behind that is that video wins mindshare and mindshare drives pipeline. There's another stat I wanted to share with you that our CEO posted on LinkedIn the other day. Go look him up, Palash Sony. You probably know him. He had a great post yesterday, about how really 62%, I believe, of of people listening to your brand message, are not ready to buy yet. Right? So, the brand building you can do to win mindshare is really what keeps mind when people finally are ready to buy. And that's what we mean by video winning mindshare. So everything you're gonna hear today from us is designed to help you do more with video. The teams around you do more with video or even to champion video within your organization and say, hey. I don't need a ton more budget to do more video, because Goldcast is making it easy, and I can actually do things to Goldcast AI or do kind of bring that to life from the webinar you already have. I I do it. I I upload video into ContentLab from some of the old podcast I was on, and I clip it up. And then all of a sudden I have video to share on social with that new LinkedIn video tab. So thanks for all the love you all have given us in the chat. I'm gonna move forward and share a little bit more about why this is hard today. So we all know we wanna do more with video, but it takes a lot of time, teams, budgeting, strategizing, different tools to make it happen. And it's historically been really expensive and hard to get good video to market. And it also means a lot of collaboration with experts across your team with different orgs, and a lot of executive attention on video, leading to the need to do high production video, polished video. But we also see a trend toward authentic video content. So while while people have always historically and and and and high production video always performs well, there is a shift toward really authentic raw video. And so that's where things like webinar live content, podcast thought leadership content, customer testimonials, that type of content can perform really, really well and be really scroll stopping in in environments like LinkedIn or in on demand webinars. So when we think about this, a lot of our customers say they're investing in webinars. A lot of them say they're investing in podcasts. And many invest beyond the into, social channels tent, additional distribution channels like on demand to increase SEO, increase your audience engagement on and ultimately get some signals from that engagement. You have a more personalized outreach touch point to help your sales team grab a video clip from social and use that video to engage with, another prospect. So video is at the heart of it. It's hard today. We're here to make it easier. And how we do that is we help you create more content, whether that's live or prerecorded, and ingest content that you already have in your archive so that we can help you use AI to generate more content, channel, optimize that content and distribute it in a way that helps you measure signals from across those properties. Specifically, your website. We're doing a lot with embedding this next year, a lot with video hubs. And, a lot with multimodal content. So getting video into your blogs. ContentLab does that for you. Getting video out onto social that's optimized for the aspect ratio of that channel. With the captions you need for that channel. And all branded, of course, in your brand style. And and below it all again, the engagement signals that help you personalize that pipeline. So it's a bold claim, but we think video can 20 x your content strategy both in the, the volume you can get out there and impact it can have on your audience and engagement. Driving mind share, driving pipeline, driving engagement. So you you know, you gotta think about webinars. Of course, Goldcast will always advocate for producing great webinar content, but there's also, live events you can record and upload. There's your product launch materials. There's your podcast. There's other forms of video going on across your org. There's fireside chats. We've started doing it. Goldcast. There's customer testimonials, etcetera. So it's it's people, it's authentic messaging. It's testimonials about your brand, that then you can repurpose across channels. So what does that mean for the Goldcast roadmap? Well, q 4 to q 1 is pretty busy. The way we think about our strategy, there's always that pillar of helping you manage events that that you can trust to be there for you to engage your audience in your brand. And there's a few different things in orange that you'll probably key in on and say, oh, yes. I was asking for that. That would be great. But what I really wanna draw your attention to is the purple. The platform that we're building that helps you do more with video and AI, which are 2 mandates that many of our customers wanna do more with in the coming the coming year. So the first is a recording studio that will help you record content without a live audience and get it into the content lab to edit full video and transcripts that you can either send to a prerecorded event or embed on a video hub. So distributing on a video hub will let your your audience engage on demand. Those video hubs could be designed to host a series, to host a collection of series, to, host a single video, to host clips. So that those video hubs will be launching to beta. Actually, I believe the beta started today. So Courtney will share more about that. Will it be adding video chapters to those hubs to help your audience engage with content the way they've come to expect from, from many video platforms like YouTube. We'll have a video library to support you managing all that video content and from which you can generate blog content. So AI search, Ernest will will demo this but basically you'll be able to do more than search for clips across your library, which you've hopefully seen in beta. You'll also be able to generate written content from across your whole library of video. So import that video. We're we're coming coming in hot with bulk uploads in case people wanna import more content. And of course, let's not forget as you're embedding video on your hubs and on your website, we'll also allow you to embed live web if that is your strategy of choice to bring people live to your website to increase SEO and engagement. The, the speaker and organizer experience would, of course, still be on the Goldcast backstage like you're familiar with, but we'll give you another channel to drive traffic. And there's a there's a couple more things on AI content you'll hear from our team today. Brand voice, more clip caption designs. And one thing you won't see today, but we'll probably see in the next spotlight is highlight. So we'll make it really, really easy to not just generate one clip, but a kind of summary minute long clip. And before I, turn it over, I'll quickly touch on event management. So we'll help you assign q and a. I'm already daunted by managing q and a after this event, but I can't wait for the feature to get released soon where I can assign q and a so I can more easily manage it. We'll also be able to send a report to your speakers for any questions that were assigned to them that were unanswered. Frictionless event entry. If you're following me here, it's the second orange bar. That's something that'll just reduce the number of clicks for for your attendees as they try to get into the event. We've got a beta started for that soon. So if you're interested, let Courtney or I know or one of our team know, your CSM know. We'll get you in on that. And many of you will see improvements to that experience, at the start of the year. For for our bigger customers, many had requested limiting the stage controls that speakers get so that only moderators or organizers have control of the stage and what gets shared to the stage and speakers can go on and off stage. So we'll have a setting for that coming. Now on the 4th orange bar down, we've got one click registration. So one click registration is helping you get people who are already on your site, already registered for an event, easily registered for another event, because you've already captured their info or registering for a series. And then we have 2 big asks when it comes to data and integrations. 1 is getting those survey responses synced over to the CRM, and the other is adding the integration settings to your event. So lots of stuff coming for event management, but don't forget everything that's coming for your video needs. So it's your 2025 strategies as you're figuring do more with video. Think of Goldcast. Think of what more you could record on Goldcast that you could seamlessly embed into a video hub, embed onto a campaign page in your branding, add to add to a prerecorded event. We're we're here for it. We wanna hear about the experiments you're running. We wanna feature you and some of our marketing materials. So there's there's gonna be a big year for video, and we wanna help you do more video. So, without further ado, I'm going to turn it over to my teammate, Ernest, to tell you more about what he and the team have launched in the Content Lab with AI search. Awesome. Thanks, Lauren. That was awesome. I was thinking to myself, man, I would hate to go after Lauren because she did such a great job. I'll never live up to the hype that she created, and here I am going after Lauren. So thank you all for joining. I am excited to share with you some updates and some previews of things that are coming, to fruition that you could get your hands on as early as today. First of which is AI search. Now if you're anything like Goldcast, the company, you are sitting on a mountain of video content. You guys have produced content over the course of the last weeks, months, years. And the truth of the matter is there's probably quite a bit of content that's in there that's relevant to some upcoming campaigns that you have. But the reality is you're not going to go in and sift through all of that video content to find the relevant clips that could be, used for your upcoming campaign. In fact, just about everyone we've talked to doesn't fit that with into their workflow. They just end up creating net new content. Well, you could be a lot more efficient and a lot more productive if you had a way to be able to find that content re and repurpose it to use for your upcoming campaigns. And that's exactly what we've made possible with AI search. And I'm gonna stop sharing here so that I can share my screen and show you what you're really here for, which is a demo of that. So here I am in ContentLab or in Goldcast, and you'll notice that we have this box right here to generate content from your library. Now I've got dozens and dozens of videos, in in Goldcast, whether it's events that we've hosted or whether it's videos that we've uploaded from our library, library, our YouTube playlist, our Wistia page, our Vimeo, etcetera. And now what I'm able to do is I can find clips about topics, I can generate social posts, and coming next week, I'll have the ability to generate blog posts. Well, you guys are here for the spotlight, so you get special treatment. Let's show you a sneak preview of generating generating blog posts. So in here I've got generate blog post about, and I can type really whatever topic I think I might have in my video library. So I'll just say AI for marketing. Now what's happening is the system is running a search, looking across your entire video library, finding the relevant videos that have relevant clips, and then surfacing up to you, hey, I've I've found that AI marketing has clips that match in any of these sources. Which would you like to use? I'm actually going to exclude these PDE syncs here because those are, internal events that we host that aren't meant to be shared out. I want more of the external events, to produce a blog post out of. So now by, deselecting those and selecting the others, I can have a blog post or blog post generated relevant to the topic that I searched for, which is AI for marketing, across the sources that I selected. So we'll give that a few minutes here. While I'm, waiting the couple minutes that it's going to take for those blog posts to generate, I would love for you to put in the chat what what blog posts you would, have created if you could search across your video library. Maybe a campaign that you've got running where it would be really helpful if if you had a tool that searched across 10, 20, 50, a 100 videos in your video library. Let's see what we have. Evergreen marketing topics. Awesome. Testimonials. Love that. Top 3 learnings from a recent event. Great. Best practices using our technology. Love it. Awesome. Case study interviews. All really great stuff. Alright. Let's see where we're at here. Alright. It looks like it's taking another minute or so. Again, we do have quite a bit of content loaded in here. So our, model is doing its best to produce the best possible blog post based on the, the search that I ran. Now one thing to know, in regards to that search. So I searched for AI for marketing. So what our system is doing is it's looking for any any videos where AI in marketing was mentioned, but it's actually going beyond that. And it's not only searching for AI in marketing, but it could expound AI, for example. And it'll search for artificial intelligence. It'll search for large language models. It'll search for LLMs. It'll search for machine learning. It's smart enough and intelligent enough to find those things and surface that information, which makes it even better for members of your organization that may not know the exact keywords that are mentioned in the videos that you guys have uploaded. Now here, we we see a blog post that was created. We actually created 3 blog posts from that search, And you'll notice we've got some really great text in here. We've got, a video clip that's relevant. We've got another video clip there, and we've got another video clip. And you'll you'll notice these 2 video clips come from the same source. This one came from a different source, altogether, and we've got a nice mix here. Now if I go into another one, we should see, a similar thing. We should see a combination of different clips that are associated from different events. So really what you're getting is you're getting blog content that is the type of content that you'd be willing to distribute all within a matter of moments. All of the clips that are used that were found during that search show up in here so that you can edit those clips however you'd like, change the aspect ratio, apply templates, add or remove captions. And then if you wanted social posts created as well, you could simply click the generate post button here, generate from those recordings, and you're off to the races. So it's really very powerful. It is available for beta as of today. We've got some up upcoming changes where we're adding the ability to create blogs and select your sources coming out next week. But get your hands on it today, create social posts, find clips, and, and enjoy not having to sift through all of that content. Now let's go back and talk more about Brantown. Here, I'll share my screen again. Okay. Here we go. So brand voice. We've heard this time and time again, AI sounds like AI. It sounds robotic. It's almost created a personality in and of itself. And the truth of the matter is you and your organization often at times have brand guidelines and a brand kit where you talk about things a certain way, and you have a certain tone and and traits, and you've got writing rules that you want conveyed. So, what we've done is we've made it so that you can train our system using your brand guidelines, whether it's guidelines that you have, that you can upload into the system or if it's recent social media posts or blog posts or other content that you wanna put in the system to train, or you could create those writing rules and traits, manually in our system. So that that way when content gets produced using our AI, it looks, feels, and sounds like your brand, making it a lot more likely for you to, make a few tweaks and distribute and be on your way. So I'm gonna go ahead and stop sharing this to share my screen all over again, and we're gonna talk about, brand voice here. So in the brand kit area, you'll notice that there's a section for voice profile. In here, I can add a tone of voice, and I have the ability to either upload a brand guideline, PDF, or I can add example copy. The other option is I could create manually if I just wanted to add my own writing rules myself, but in this case, I'm gonna add some example copy. Now I, went to Snoop Dogg's LinkedIn profile, and I copied a handful of his most recent, most recent posts. And I'm gonna paste those in here and save that. And I'm gonna have our system analyze that voice and pull out the traits and writing rules that Snoop Dogg might have. So let's give that a minute here and see what it comes up with. I am both excited and a little nervous at what Snoop Dogg's brand voice is gonna sound like. Matthew, I see you there. Awesome. Alright. So it looks like, the voice and tone traits that our system pulled from is Snoop Dogg's authentic, inspirational, he's casual, street smart, I'll say so, he's confident, that's awesome. What are some of the writing rules that came out? Uses personal experiences and anecdotes, incorporates slang, yes, of course. Focuses on self improvement, uses short impactful sentences, awesome. Dudes, use language that empowers no blips, don't use derogatory terms or excess profanity. Awesome. Okay. Great. So we've we've got the voice and tone and writing rules that were extracted here. I can make whatever modifications I want. I can delete things, I can add things, and you'll notice that on the right hand side, it's giving us a little preview of what Snoop Dogg's tone of voice sounds like. So here we go. Listen up, fam. Finding your brand voice ain't just some corporate yet. This is hilarious. Alright. Let's go ahead and call this Snoop Dogg, and I can decide whether I want this to be the default voice profile that gets applied every time, AI text or our AI produces text or I can have it just be an alternative. In this case, I've got the Goldcast brand voice as my default and then Snoop Dogg is an alternative. Now let's go home and I'll go back to the AI for marketing search that I ran where we had that blog post there are those blog posts created. And I'm gonna go ahead and change this voice to Snoop Dogg. Now what's gonna happen is our system's gonna make an exact copy of that blog post, but it's gonna have it rewritten in Snoop Dogg's voice. So if you wanted one for the Goldcast brand voice and you wanted one for the Snoop Dogg brand voice, you can absolutely have that and that history is saved here as a result. I can't wait to see this. Okay. So here we go. Keeping it real, how AI is changing the game for marketers. I don't I don't know that I even need to read much more, but, yo, let's talk about this new player in marketing game that is straight up changing everything. I love this. I know you'll love it. It's, we've had it available for the last couple of months. If you haven't tried it already, go into your system, get into the Brand Kit, upload your profile or create one manually. It's a ton of fun and super valuable for our customers. Alright. I've taken up way too much time. I'm gonna bring my colleague Courtney up on stage to show you some even more exciting updates. Courtney, this is awesome. I saw someone in the chat say that they're going to start all their e mails with, listen up fam, and I think I'm going to start my e mails that way from now on too. If that's how your e mail starts, I'm opening it. Alright. That was awesome. I am going to keep us rolling with, some updates, on other features. Just a quick shout out. We are going to announce the giveaway winner following my demo. I'm going to go through a couple of slides, but stick around to find out if you won that swag So I'm gonna start with a feature that I personally am super excited about. Lauren touched on this in her roadmap presentation at the top of this call. We're talking about video hubs. We are talking about distributing your content that you have spent such time, and energy on creating, and you really wanna use that content to, grab eyeballs to keep, attention on your own hosted properties, on your Goldcast sites. And video hubs allow you to showcase your video content to drive more views, more engagement, with dynamic branded pages. You can host these pages on your Goldcast sites or URLs. You can white label them. You also have the opportunity to embed full sites or blocks of videos onto your own websites. And then, of course, tracking performance of how your content is performing with your audiences, which content is most popular, what formats work best for you, and where you're getting the most views is super exciting. So I'm gonna do a quick demo of our video hubs. And just a note, I'm pretty sure Lauren mentioned this, but VideoHUB is going into beta, this week. It is a closed beta. We are only accepting 10 participants. If you have interest, please do reach out to your CSMs, and we will see if we can get you in that list. So let me go ahead and show you guys what we're talking about. I am going to start with an example that we built out. This is a Goldcast Video Hub. This is hosted entirely on Goldcast, built entirely on Goldcast. One of the best things and most exciting things about the Video Hub itself is that it is featuring your content front and center. You have the opportunity to select what content is featured in what section of the page. So if you have different topics that you wanna cover, like AI or cybersecurity, I've seen coming up in the chat, or if you have series like a CMO diaries like we have or Event Marketers Live, you can share that as well. As you can see, all of this is fully customizable depending on your style, your brand guidelines. And one of, another one of the most exciting things about our video hubs is that it's not just about videos. We know that you're hosting your events on Goldcast, and you also have the opportunity to promote those events, whether you're spotlighting a particular event that you really wanna drive viewers to, or encouraging people to sign up for your upcoming events that you're hosting with us on Goldcast. You can have those registration opportunities as well. So it's really combining all of those engagement touch points with your audience into this experience. And just to give you a quick look, what the video player itself looks like, You've got more branding opportunities, really making this feel like it's your own. And just to shout out, some of this content, the summary, and the title, these are all generated in ContentLab. So it's really taking a lot of the effort, out of the process. I'm just gonna jump into my Goldcast studio and give you guys a quick tour of how this came together. But before I do that, just to give you an example, this is the page hosted on Goldcast. I don't know if you can see, but my URL is eventhub. Goldcast. Io. I'm just going to switch windows here. We have embedded this entire page into our staging website. It's not live, but you can see that it was incredibly easy and simple to embed directly. If we did want to, if we had this on an actual page in our sites, what we could do, which I will show you guys really quickly right now, is we're going to go ahead and go into pages. We are gonna go into our Goldcast Video Hub. And we can just go ahead and hide our navigation block and our footer block. If I go back in here and I reload the page, you guys are gonna see those blocks disappear or rather you should see them disappear. But these, the header and the footer would now represent, what is on your main page, rather on your own website. Sorry, hold on. Let's try that again. There you go. If this page were embedded onto your site, you could have your native navigation, you could have your native footer around all of this content, which we're really excited about. Just to give a little sneak peek into some of the options that you have in building out your Video Hub. You can add a video block the same way that you add any of the other content to a Goldcast page. You also have the option, like we were saying before, to add any content to blocks that you've added to other types of pages before, like upcoming events, on demand events, text images, all sorts of things like that. When you add a video block, you will have the opportunity to select which videos, from Goldcast are featured on that block. So if we go ahead and we search event marketers live, for example, we can pull up exactly the episodes of event marketers live that we wanna feature. And we also, for each video, have the opportunity to select, upload a thumbnail, put in a specific description as well as a summary. These are the summaries that I was describing that I have pulled directly from ContentLab and dropped in here, which made my job super easy spinning up this page. In addition to the videos and the content, and the thumbnails themselves, we also have the ability to control, all the layouts. So you have a carousel and a grid option. You can control the same way that you can on every block that, you have in the page builder. You can control, the card style, the image style, the footer style. So everything that you see from the background colors to the text color, to the font, to the sizes of these sections, the padding, the borders, all of those things are fully customizable depending on how you want to develop it. As I was showing you, you do have the opportunity to embed this entire page directly into your own hosted site. And if you did want to, embed a singular block, maybe just a set of videos about CMO diaries onto your CMO diaries web page, you could develop just that block and copy your embed code, for that. So just as an example, We'll pull that up for you guys. So here's an example I pulled together just a few videos for CMO diaries. You can come in here. And let's say you didn't even want a headline because you really just wanna pull in that carousel of videos or that grid of videos onto your own hosted website, you can go ahead and delete it. And then again, you can control all the styling to make sure that it matches the site that you are embedding onto. Okay. Also, just to also give you guys a quick look, let me go back to the page that we were just looking at. And, of course, you're gonna wanna understand, how people are interacting with this content, what's most popular, where are you getting the most engagement, whether on your goal cast site or on an embed. And analytics is gonna show you all of that. It's gonna help you track which of your videos are most popular. So right now, my get more out of your webinars video is, trending to be the most popular. You can watch a distribution of watch time, which videos are getting the, longest watches. So even though get more out of your webinar is most popular, it looks like CMO Diaries with Adrea, Laffley from Rocket Software is getting the most watch time, which is really interesting. And you can also delve in addition to a lot of these, topics are your embed insights. So are people watching on your embed? Are people watching on your Goldcast site, and what your watch time is as well among other things. Okay. I am going to come back to my slides. So just reiterate, super excited about video hubs. If you are interested in the beta, go ahead and reach out to your CSM. And I'm just gonna talk a little bit about some of our other, enhancements and features that we're incredibly excited about. We have, a few updates to running engaging events, that we've recently launched. If you run-in person events, if you run field events, we've recently launched the ability to have on-site registration. So if somebody hasn't signed up, they can sign up right at the door. Your attendees can self check-in. They can scan their QR code on a computer or an iPad that you have set up at the door. You're also able to edit registering details. If something is out of place or someone's name is spelled wrong, you can just go ahead and make that change at the door of your event as well. We've also recently launched our automated run of show, where we allow, event hosts to schedule polls and surveys at specific times in prerecorded sessions. So you no longer have to really waste the man hours and the time to manually launch polls and surveys in your prerecorded events. You can really just let them, you know, set it and forget it and let them run. A couple of other updates, on our focus on B2B Teams. We've recently launched additional roles in the Studio. People who are using your Goldcast Studio for different reasons, different use cases, you have the ability to restrict what they can and cannot do inside Studio. And one of those restrictions is, specific to ContentLab. So if you have users who are using ContentLab, and only ContentLab, you have the opportunity to assign them a ContentLab specific seat. We've also worked on improved invites and really reducing the amount of time and effort, event organizers have to spend manually sending invitations and calendar calendaring your speakers and your event staff for, your upcoming events. They will all receive automated invites with calendar invites, going forward. Of course, you can turn those off. You can control the email, and the content that it shares, but that's we're really excited to kind of take that off your plate going forward. And custom reporting. There's so much data and so much rich data inside Goldcast in the way that your audiences are engaging with the content that you are sharing with them. Custom reports is gonna allow you to build out a report that's tailored to your own business needs, that you really have the opportunity to control the parameters of. I think that is it for me. I'm going to invite Lauren back up on stage to talk about a few other future facing features that we're all really excited about. Hey, Lauren. Hey, Courtney. Gosh. I just get so excited about these product demos. Thank you so much. Excited about video hubs, and I can't wait to get to the q and a portion. So I'm gonna get to this next question this next, section of the presentation first. And then we'll have you back up on stage to talk more about Video Hubs, and we'll bring Ernest back up here to talk about some of the questions about Content Lab too. Before I actually get into the slides, I wanted to share what I'm seeing in the chat. So, Megan from OnSpring is saying that she was testing out the content hub, content lab, and she uploaded a recording from a live in person event and she's loving it. So I'm so glad to hear that Megan. It's a great use case you shared here, that you can take any video, from other events or other high production video and bring it into ContentLab and just upload it and generate some content from it. I also saw, a customer testimonial. Where was it? From Bamboo. Yeah. So Michael called out that their team uses both of these features at the at Bamboo HR. They worked great for the field and digital events. So, thank you so much for sharing your examples in the chat. We love to hear it. We love to hear what people are getting used out of it. I'll share a little bit more, of what we have coming up in our roadmap before we dive into the q and a. There's a lot of meat packed onto these 4 purple bullet points. Really, I I will be getting into the recording studio here in just a couple slides. So I'll quickly hit on the the second, 3rd, and 4th. 2nd, we have video chapterization. I mentioned it earlier, but I really wanna hear your ideas for where you'd like to use video chapters. Now that you've seen video hubs, maybe it kinda clicks a little bit more why those chapters are gonna become relevant. So they're not only gonna be helpful while editing video in a recording studio and generating some ContentLab clips from them, They're also gonna be helpful to publish to your on demand pages if you expect your, your on demand viewers to wanna navigate that video on demand with those auto chapters. We'll also have embeddable events. So this one, I have a whole separate slide for that some of our CSM team could show you and we could get you in on the beta for it as well. But if you're interested in embedding Goldcast webinars into your own website to drive SEO, to drive some of that site traffic and engagement there, we do have that feature coming. So please do shoot us a note if that's something you're interested in incorporating into your strategy in 2025. We, of course, love the the Goldcast experience, but the same Goldcast experience for attendees could be available on your website if you're getting into more embedded content. And then we call it clips that pop. But when we think about sharing more video to social, we know people, 80 something percent of people only read captions and don't put the sound on. So we need those those captions to really pop the the whole aspect ratio and the caption placement to really work for LinkedIn and where those lower thirds are and help you put your brand at the center of it and save some of those templates. So all of that you can expect more from us on. We tend to stay pretty high level for some of the big big investments on this call. But if you wanna get into the weeds with us on any of these things and understand some of those features, please let us know. So, before I go to q and a, I'm gonna and before I announce the winner, I'm gonna give a quick sneak peek into another one of these big use cases that perhaps we'll be showing and demoing at the next spotlight event, and that is recording studio. So there's 3 key things to know about recording studio. The first is live recording. So some of our customers come in and use Goldcast without an audience in there to to record content. They like the branding elements, the stage elements, some of the backstage controls and that it goes right over to ContentLab. So we are unlocking that capability as a full on recording studio. You'll get a recorder, You can schedule a series and invite some speakers to attend that, which will be great for for podcasts or kind of repeat recording use cases like fireside chats or customer testimonials. You will get those editing tools. You'll be able to distribute straight to a prerecorded event. You'll be able to send it to an embedded video hub and, of course, send it to ContentLab to generate content. So the second thing you need to know is that you'll get a video library. So any of your recordings from your events or the recordings that you have recorded in recording studio will get displayed in this, recordings list. It it seems like a boring list, but it's powerful. So you can take action on this list. You can kind of, organize your content. You can find clips that you've saved. There's one there's gonna be one place to to get to know your video and to control where it gets sent, whether that's to a prerecorded event or a video hub, or just, chopped up in ContentLab. And finally, speaking of chopping it up in ContentLab, we will get you that recording editor. So many of you have asked for the ability to trim the start and stop of a video if there's some dead time to remove the space between some sections of video. This is where you can expect to see those chapters pop up and help you take action on them. And, eventually, we'll also let you recompose the video. So you'll get that composite recording from your Goldcast, stage. But you'll also, as you know and love in ContentLab, can reorganize based on the active speaker streams. So we'll start to allow that type of editing feature to not just apply over the whole video. But as we introduce chapters, we'll let you reorganize what's going on in each chapter. So it's gonna be a pretty powerful tool. It'll help you from having to download video, upload it to another team or platform, and then reupload it into one of those hubs or events. If you are interested, if you already have a use case for one of these, please do let us know. Courtney and team are starting the beta for that in a couple weeks. Ernest is also leading the, the post production editing piece, and a couple of our team who's not on the call today are leading the chapterization and the data behind it all. So please do if you're really interested in being a beta partner for us, raise your hand and let us know. And it's time for q and a. So I'm gonna pull up my my chat panel, get to see what's happening in the chat. I'm gonna announce the winner and then we're gonna dive into Q and A. So I lied at the 30 minute mark, but it is actually the 45 minute mark because our webinar is going, 60 minutes. We we have a winner. We have Ernest and Courtney back up on stage, and then we're gonna dive into q and a. So the winner of the giveaway, her first name ends with an I e and her last name ends with an e r. If there are multiple of you, that was a torturous joke. I'm so sorry. She works for LastPass and her name is Amy Schluter. So congratulations, Amy. Our team will reach out to you. You're gonna get perfectly, hot coffee with every sip with those 2 smart mugs. One of the Q and A questions was what's a smart mug? And I neglected to explain that concept. It's, it's going with our theme of smart events, smart content, but you'll also have smart coffee which means you can set your favorite temperature. So congratulations, we're really excited. Thank you for everything you do. And the LastPass team to put video first and we're excited to have you in one of our betas. So without further ado, thanks for joining me on stage. Courtney and Ernest, those are awesome demos. How hyped are you to be chatting with all our customers today? Too hyped. Way too hyped. The excitement is getting me even more excited. Yeah. We love it. We love talking with you all. So let's start with a, what, you know, it's not an easy question because we we don't always know what to expect, but it's the one everyone's really excited to hear the answer to, Courtney. When can we expect video hubs to roll out to everyone? That's a great question. Like we said, the closed beta is opening up this very week. We are gonna be making some enhancements during the beta, and making sure it is GA ready, in early 2025. So look out for news, around January. Exciting stuff. So now we have a couple more questions about video hubs while you're while you're thinking about it. Some are feature related. People wanna do more with video. So, Katie thought about some content that's not on the Goldcast studio or wasn't recorded with us, and she wants to know if she can get that into a video hub. Yeah. Absolutely. Katie, you can actually upload content today directly to ContentLab, and anything you upload there is gonna be accessible, to put up into a video hub. We're also I believe Lauren mentioned very early on in this conversation, we're working on a video library, which is gonna be a unified experience for you to manage all of your content inside Goldcast, and that will accept direct uploads, and then those uploads can be used, inside, VideoHUB. Awesome. So while we're on the theme, I'm gonna ask another VideoHUB question. Marissa asked, whether she can host it on a company domain. Sure. So there are basically three choices for hosting a Video Hub. You can host it directly on Goldcast. So your URL would be eventhub.goldcast.io/ your page. You can white label that page. You can choose your own subdomain, so eventhub.yourcompanyname.com. That would be technically hosted on Goldcast but white labeled to your site. The third option is to embed the entire page directly onto your own hosted website and that would be on your domain. So it's really up to you. Yeah. The embedding's really important to our customers as we're seeing. We wanna help you drive site traffic, keep people on-site, so definitely options for that. Let us know how you wanna use it, Marissa. I know Marissa and Dylan both had a question about how to collect user data as part of these pages. So I'm gonna flash 2 questions quickly. One of them is about reg forms to collect that data or a one time sign in. The other is about gating videos, as part of that option of of gathering that user data. So how are we thinking about this one, Courtney? Yeah. These are great great questions. We are expecting to add the ability to gate the content directly following our beta. We're looking for our beta participants to give a lot of really important input on how we allow you to gate the content. As you can tell just from these two questions, there are a few different ways from gating the entire page to gating individual on demand videos. And we are really relying on you as our users to help guide us what is gonna be best for your use cases. So again, if you're interested in joining the beta, please reach out to your CSM. If you are or if you just wanna share some ideas or, ways that you could see yourself using the feature, please do shoot myself and your CSMs, an email so we can take that input, as we, develop the feature for GA in early 2025. Cool. And it looks like Marissa already has a request in the chat. Her idea is to have the gating option pop up midway through a video, which is an interesting way to kinda help people with that content. So great ideas. We're gonna as as Courtney mentioned, give a bunch of people the opportunity to help shape that product direction. So with that, I'll ask Matthew's question, to remind folks how they can participate in the beta. Yeah. Absolutely. Reach out to your CSM. We are currently running a closed beta. We are planning only to accept 10 participants. We may have the opportunity to expand that into the later part of this year. You know, if you have time and inclination around the holidays and you wanna take that time to to give some feedback, please do let us know. Reach out to your CSM, and they will connect you to the beta. Everyone has time around the holidays to experiment with their video strategy. Right? Right. Well, we hope this is exciting enough. Sometimes it is fun to use that downtime to experiment. So if you're like us and, like, playing with a beta, when you get some free time between projects, let us know. We're we're interested and and you can help us spin up some, some video hubs and also really and truly influence the product strategy. So, thank you so much for your interest in doing that. I'm going to, oh, there's, there's one more question, that I think I'm gonna take the answer to, but feel free Courtney to add to it if you want to. People are wondering whether this is available with a standard license or it's an add on, and the answer is like a little bit of a hybrid. There are a number of video hubs included in each plan, but you can always add on more. Okay. Cool. So without further ado, I'm gonna pivot a little bit to the questions that we got about the great ContentLab demo. So I'm gonna start with one that Leanne said, oh, never mind. You already answered my question. But in case other people have the same question, Leanne had originally seen your first demo of ContentLab and had asked if there's a way to make blog posts out of the transcript of a video. So, Ernest, I know you demoed this, but you wanna quickly recap, what we can do with blog posts as well as video clips? Yeah. Absolutely. So in ContentLab, you could have ContentLab produce a blog post about your topic of choosing. And when you initiate that, what will happen is we'll search across our video library. We'll find the sources that have, relevancy to the topic that you just searched for. And then at that point, you could decide whether you want the blog post to be produced out of one of those sources or many of those sources. So if you had a particular event in mind that you wanted to produce a blog post out of and you wanted it to be about a certain subject, you could isolate your search to just that video or, like many of our, other customers are doing, search across your entire library for those specific topics and then have blog posts produced as a result. That's right. You can use that voice feature to rewrite the blog post with Snoop Dogg's tone or your CEO's voice or whichever profile you've made. And you can go into the transcript of a video too and generate takeaways, emails, blog posts. So go play around in the content lab. When you go into a single video, you can do a lot over there on the left hand side, or if you use that search function, you can generate across your library like Ernest said. And so, you know, a related question, I sent this over from the chat to q and a. It wasn't Matt's choice to put it in the q and a, but he was just double checking. It will look through all of your uploaded videos to create content related to your request. So, like, there's a couple of things going on in this question. 1, a little bit how it works. 2, whether it's uploaded or recorded on Goldcast. And 3, like, what your request is. So, you know, I'll just quickly reiterate here. Yes. As Ernest said, you can select which videos it reads from. You can upload videos to augment what's in your library. We have a bulk upload coming too. So if you have a bunch of videos, you can already upload 10 at a time in batches. But, if you have more than that, we want it. We want your video, and we wanna help you make cool things with it. So then you can get really targeted with what you want it to generate, and it will both generate from an AI understanding of that request as well as some semantic understanding of what you typed in. Anything else you wanna add there, Ernest? The only additional thing that I'll add is there can be a lot of content or there can be a lot of, details and data that can be extracted from a video, and we're constantly adding more and more things for the AI to be able to search again. So for example, maybe you wanna search, Matthew, for the time that you talked about business development. Well, you're a speaker that's part of that event, and sometimes we have that information readily available and sometimes we don't. So we're constantly fine tuning to make it so that more and more of your searches return really relevant results. So go go sign up for ContentLab if you don't already have it. If if you are a customer already, many much of this is already available. Test it out. Work on it. Search, research, search again, provide any feedback that you might have. We'll continue to make it better. Very cool. Thanks, Ernest. We we got some demand here because people liked it so much to get the content lab generation in other languages like Spanish. So I know we don't have an exact date on this yet, but Tamira says, o m g, please, please tell me we will have this in other languages like Spanish. So can you give, the folks on the call a sight line into what we're thinking about with other languages and what feedback you want from them on what, you know, what languages they want, where they want it? Yeah. Absolutely. So today, you can actually run a prompt in the system and have it rewrite your text in other languages. There's several languages that we support, and we have those posted on our help articles. Where we're getting some feedback is my video is in Spanish, therefore, I want my captions to be in Spanish, for example. And that's something that's on the road map and on the horizon. We don't have an exact timeline yet, but I would venture to bet that we'll have a spotlight in q one where we'll, demo and show this. So please stay tuned. But in the meantime, you can take advantage of text being rewritten in different languages while we wait for some of the, alternate languages, alternate language capabilities to show up. If you wanna get early access or provide early feedback to that, you can email me directly, ernesacco@goldcast. Io. Would love to get your early feedback so that that way we're building a solution that works well for you. Sweet. We got time probably for 2 more questions. So this will be a quick one. Matt asked, will video editing in the ContentLab bring back the sliding or time stamp clip editor rather than only through the transcript? And I know we have a number of different outlooks on how this works. What can Matt expect in the coming months from ContentLab editing, Ernest? Yeah. So there's a a handful of things. One of the things that you're able to do today with Clips is you're able to grab each end of a video and you can shorter shorten it or lengthen it using the using kind of a a timeline slider. We're also bringing that same capability to a full recording. So if you've hosted an event and, in the event you want to trim the front and you want to trim the back, you'll be able to do that. As well as some of the other capabilities that we've demoed in the past where you where, you could add captions, you could change layout and styling. We're gonna be adding image overlays, text overlays, those sorts of things. The goal is to then move into a little bit more advanced editing capabilities while still making it super seamless and easy to use so you don't have to tap a video editor on the shoulder. Things like, splitting. Things like adding, clips in between clips. Things like, we have intros and outros, but how do you also make modifications to those or add those to full recordings and so forth. So there's quite a bit there. We are reexploring the ability to make timeline selection or time stamp selections. So that will likely be something that you'll see in q one as well. Matthew, I would love to get in touch with you and talk specifically about how you'd expect that workflow to work. We do have, some feedback that that we have already, but, any and all feedback will help us advance things forward. Cool. Awesome. So to conclude one more time for those who wanna know who are still hanging on because they love this so much and they can't wait to use it, How can they check out the new beta features? We're each gonna tell the audience one way they can get involved in a beta. So I'm gonna say, please do reach out to your CSM and let them know which of the specific things you saw today you'd like to participate in. Courtney, do you have a CTA? You can also reach out directly to to us, to the PM team. Ernest, shared his email. I'm courtney@goldcast.io. Reach out to us. Feel free to cc your CSM, and we can tell you more. I'm sorry to put you on the spot there. I guess, you know, like, the video hubs feature definitely, you know, we're running that starting today. So if you want in on that, be very specific about that one, and and you'll get to meet with Courtney. If you want a meeting with Courtney, say you wanna be in video of the recording studio, basically. And, Ernest, do you have any more CTAs of betas you're looking to get customers in on? Yeah. So AI search is currently in beta. If you already have a Goldcast account, just click on content and you'll see at the very top a beta tag next to the AI search box. If you don't, go sign up for a free trial of ContentLab. It's available for you. Goldcast. A0/content will take you right there or slash content lab will take you right there, and you'll get access to it immediately. We are monitoring feedback there. We are looking to see how we're returning results, when we're returning results, and that's really opening us up to what iteration we make. But please don't hesitate and send me an email. Let's get on the phone. Let's hear how you're using it and not using it, what you'd like to see. We wanna make it, work really well for you. Wonderful. Well, thank you so much to the people who are still on the line with us, who stayed overtime. We love you. We love how you push us to make more cool stuff, and we're here to talk about it anytime you want to. So, get in on a beta, help us, make Goldcast better, and help you all do more with video in 2025. Thanks, Courtney and Ernest, and the teams, behind the backstage here for everything you do to make the spotlight. Have a great rest of your day. Thanks, everyone.
